Carl Curtis, DVM
Veterinarian and Founder
Dr. Curtis has been practicing in Frisco, Texas for over 8 years and is excited to fulfill his dream of starting his own practice in Celina, Texas!
Jake Hill, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Jake Hill is excited to return close to home and serve the community at Celina Pet Clinic & Surgical Center. Originally from nearby Frisco, Texas, Jake is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and providing compassionate, personalized care to pets and their families. Jake completed both his undergraduate and veterinary education at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). His professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, and reproduction.
Jake is especially grateful for the opportunity to work alongside his mentor, Dr. Curtis, who he has been working with since 2020. Outside of the clinic, Jake enjoys spending time outdoors, especially at the lake, and with his wife, Jacque, and their black lab, Bullet. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys following all of the Dallas sports teams, whenever he gets the chance.
Caitlin
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Caitlin is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Celina Pet Clinic. Originally from Long Island, New York, her passion for helping animals began at a young age and has continued throughout her education and career.
Her journey into veterinary medicine began in high school through an Animal Science program. She went on to attend SUNY Delhi, where she earned her Associate’s degree and veterinary technician license before returning to complete her Bachelor’s degree. In 2023, Caitlin moved to Texas through an internship opportunity and to be closer to her partner, Jack.
Since moving to Texas, Caitlin has adopted two cats, Frodo and Gizmo. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, reading, and spending time swimming at the pool, beach or lake.
Flavio
Veterinary Assistant
After serving the Celina community for 3 years as a Library Assistant at the Celina Public Library, Flavio moved on to support the community's pets as well! This is a brand-new experience for him and finds it greatly fulfilling. Once work is over, he enjoys building Gundam robots, playing video games with his long-time friends, and exploring new hobbies such as crochet.
Camden
Veterinary Assistant
Camden has always had a passion for animals, dating back to childhood when she got her first Labrador Retriever. Growing up with a love for animals, she eventually began pet sitting, which gave her the opportunity to care for even more pets and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She enjoys caring for animals and continuing to learn more about them every day.
Outside of work, Camden is a proud dog mom to two Labrador Retrievers, Harley and Willow. She loves taking her dogs on adventures, exploring new places, and making memories with them.
Amy
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amy has been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2016, starting as a kennel technician. She attended Cedar Valley College for her associates degree in Veterinary Technology, graduating in 2020 and earning her license in 2021. Since then, she has primarily focused on the surgical aspects of Veterinary medicine. When not at work, she enjoys relaxing at home with her elderly cat Nyla, and dog sitting Jack.
Kaitlyn
Veterinary Technician
Kaitlyn was born and raised in Louisiana where her passion for animals took root. Having animals growing up, she always wanted to help them in any way she could and when her local vet offered her a chance through the Vet Tech program at North Western Natchitoches, she was quick to apply. She graduated with a bachelors in Biology and a Veterinary Technician degree. Shortly after she married her husband and moved to Texas to be closer to family and a new start in her career.
She has 7 years experience and is always learning more every day. She has two cats, Lola and Baldr, and a newly adopted dog Rhea. Her confidence and passion in the veterinary field has continued to grow. When she’s not helping her patients, she’s playing with her pets, playing video games, reading, or drawing.
Chesley
Customer Service Representative
Chesley was born and raised in Frisco, TX. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 2022. She has a genuine love for animals and a passion for connecting with people. Outside of work, Chesley is a proud dog mom to three Blue Heelers, Lotti, Rayne and Raptor.
Samantha
Veterinary Assistant
Samantha (Samie) grew up in Southern California and just recently made the move to NTX in 2025. She has always dreamed of being able to care for. She hopes to continue her education in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science when the opportunity allows.
As a Veterinary Assistant, Samie enjoys caring for patients, supporting the veterinary team, and helping clients feel comfortable and welcomed. She is eager to learn and grow her knowledge and skills while making a positive difference in the lives of the animals and families she meets.
Outside of the clinic, Samie loves spending time with her boyfriend Mario, their dogs, cats, and poultry. Her most unique companion is her sweet 30-lb turkey, who is definitely one of the biggest cuddle bugs ever!
Samie is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to caring for your pets and getting to know you and your four-legged family members.
Eric
Veterinary Technician
After serving 10 years in the U.S. Army, including two overseas tours, Eric found a new calling in veterinary medicine. Inspired by the memory of his late dog, Gin, he entered the field to honor the companion who had such a meaningful impact on his life. He is passionate about caring for animals and supporting their families and is currently working toward his goal of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).
Outside of the clinic, Eric enjoys painting figurines, playing video games with friends, and finding any opportunity to make people laugh. Whether he’s caring for a patient, working on his latest painting project, or cracking jokes with his coworkers, he believes that a little compassion, dedication, and humor can go a long way.
